DARLINGTON – Dennis E. East, 36, of 207 Franklin St., Darlington, died Thursday in the home of a sister at Indianapolis after a six-month illness. He had worked with his father as a meat cutter in East’s Grocery at Darlington, was a graduate of Tech High School at Indianapolis and was a member of the Darlington Jaycees. He was the son of Clarence and Daisy Oakley East. Surviving with his parents are two children, Teressa and Dennis of Brownsburg; a brother, David of Indianapolis; and a sister, Mrs. Judith Bogardus of Indianapolis. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington Chapel, with the Rev. Robert Penrod officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
